Pakistani Chitral Kush: Ten PCK are displayed in the picture to the left under a combination of LED and HPS lights and supported with tomato cages. This strain has its origin in the area of Chitral, Pakistan. Chitral is popularly known for the large cultivation of this crop. Cannabiogen is known to be its primal breeder. In terms of its physical features; this particular medical marijuana strain has dark leaves and is dense in structure. It has the attributes of an indica. This particular strain is found to have deep purple shades, orange hair and thick stems. The leaves have broad structure and the aroma is that of mixed fruits and berries. This marijuana is mainly known for being a calming and relaxing agent. It also contributes in overcoming symptoms of depression-oriented problems, anxiety and extreme stress. It is known to have a THC level of 21% and CBD level of 0.9%. Customers who are looking for a mood moderator would definitely appreciate it. Expected release date from StarCrisp Farms is Mid January
Medicine Man: Several three week old Medicine Man plants are shown here under pure LED lighting. More clones are currently being developed by Dave. Genetics for these clones came from a dispensary in Lacey several years ago where Dave found several Medicine Man clones available. Medicine Man is an indica dominant strain with an 80:20 indica/sativa ratio, Although the StarCrisp phenotype has a healthy dose of Sativa characteristics that can be seen on the full grown plant and experienced in the high. The strain has grown immensely popular because of its THC content which exceeds 23%. Keeping this in mind, the faint of heart are advised to stay away from the strain as it is strong and has an incredible punch to go along with it. Descriptions of the origin of genetics differ, I have heard that the strain was formerly introduced as White Rhino, but then was later named Medicine Man due to its affects which are exceedingly overwhelming. I have also heard that it is a close cousin of White Rhino with similar genetics. In any case, it is very similar to White Rhino, if not in fact the same genetics. It is a cross between Afghanistan landrace indica and a descendant of the Widow family. Physically this strain looks exactly like a Christmas tree. The buds are quite dense with solid red and yellow hairs. The strain is known for its strong sedating effects, it will overpower you as soon as you smoke it. Medicine Man will make you feel more focused while its body numb can make you feel lazy. It is used to treat a variety of different medical conditions including pains, aches and even migraines. Release date from StarCrisp Farms is expected around mid April.
THC BOMB: This has been the flagship of the StarCrisp name. The picture to the left displays a young flower already displaying characteristics of crystals all over the sugar leaves that has given THC Bomb its reputation for a THC powerhouse, typically displaying 24% THC. This variety in known for a soaring high and does not disappoint. Some stores may still have some pre-rolled joints available. Expected release date for 2016 is mid April.
Sherbet: Hailing from the Cookie Family, the flower’s genetics are rumored to be a blend of indica dominant Pink Panties crossed with the infamous Girl Scout Cookies ([F1 x Durban Poison] x OG Kush). The Girl Scout Cookies’ F1 strain remains anonymous to the public.
Sherbet strain softly greets your senses with the candied aroma of frosted Fruit Loops cereal. The bouquet is light and airy, riddled with a fine, powdery sweetness. Dense and shapely, the flowers limey hues swirl under a lemon sugar coating of glistening trichomes. Occasional highlights of majestic purple creep out amongst the short, bristly clusters of caramel colored pistils springing from below. Breaking the flower open releases a sharp lemony-lime, pine scent with earthy undertones of topsoil. The aroma quickly succumbs to a familiar dank scent that can only be described as deep purple. Dense and shapely, the flowers limey hues swirl under a lemon sugar coating of glistening trichomes.
First impressions of Sherbet strain jolt the taste buds with a mouthwatering twang of freshly peeled limes. Flavors full of frosty margaritas are being served up, and the rim is sparkling with candied pinesap crystals. A touch of earthy soil briefly surfaces before a light, powdery sweetness of Fruit Stripe gum blankets the tongue. Flavors linger in the mouth, accompanied by a delightfully soft and silky sensation.
Before you can finish exhaling, the soothing medicine of Sherbet strain has already taken effect. Feelings of soft and silky rapidly expand from head to toe. Sherbet relaxes the body, calms the mind, and melts the pain away. Anxiety and tension dissipate into a blissful cloud of euphoria. Sherbet relieves discomfort without stripping away the ability to stay focused and alert. The effects are uplifting with a creative undertone, enhancing mood through inspiration. The expected release date from StarCrisp Farms is mid January.

Purple Paralysis: Better known as “Jellyfish Bud” to many cannabis users, Purple Paralysis is a sativa dominant hybrid (80% sativa/20% indica) strain that is a powerful cross of the insanely potent Power Plant X Lavender strains. This bud gets its name from its fast-acting mind and body numbing effects much akin to a Man of War jellyfish sting that are powered by an insanely high THC level that typically falls around 22% on average. Almost immediately following the smoke, you’ll be hit with a clear-headed uplifting cerebral effect that catapults your head into the clouds, leaving you spacey and distant at times but completely relaxed with a numbed mind. A quickly building body buzz will soon follow, completely overtaking any functionality and leaving you helplessly couch-locked and sedated with a blissful feeling of serenity that lasts for hours on end. Although this high is sedative, it won’t knock you completely out – rather, it will just paralyze you and leave you utterly immovable. Because of these powerful effects, Purple Paralysis is perfect for treating chronic pain, inflammation, chronic stress or anxiety, and mild to moderate cases of depression. This bud has a surprisingly cheesy aroma and taste of floral milky earth with a spicy herbal aftertaste upon exhale. Purple Paralysis buds have long tight dense grape tomato shaped light minty green nugs with purple undertones and leaves, and clear sandy trichomes. Some stores may still have some pre-rolled joints available, expected release date from StarCrisp Farms for 2016 is mid April.

Cinex, is a hybrid of parents Cinderella 99 and Vortex, it has a mixture of flavors ranging from sweet citrus to earthy skunk. The effects are clear-headed and uplifting, perfect for building a positive mindset and stimulating creative energy. Consumers enjoy Cinex for its ability to suppress pain and depression. Because of its clear headed high which provides an enjoyable high as opposed to simply leaving you stoned, Cinex is a favorite among daytime users. StarCrisp has 10 of these girls shown to the left in an early vegetative state, and to the right in a later picture with one of the tops shown flowering. Expected release date by StarCrisp Farms mid January.
Alaskan Thunder Fuck: Shown here under a combination of LED and High Pressure Sodium lights giving it a rainbow glow, the Alaskan Thunder Fuck is a Sativa dominant strain. It is immensely popular for a high which is quite different from anything you may have already encountered before. The strain can be smoked in the morning or in the day due to its uplifting characteristics. The buds look like crystals with spots of orange hairs and could not be whiter than it actually looks. As for the smell, it is a combination of catpiss and a very strong skunk. But it does have a very diesel scent to it that cannot be ignored. When it comes to smoking the strain, you could not imagine anything better. It has a very strong banana and orange taste, which will leave a spicy aftertaste in your mouth. It is renowned for giving an immediate high. It will make you feel a bit more talkative and creative at times. Products for 2016 and a discussion of marijuana growing in Clallam County.
2016 promises to be a good year with StarCrisp Farms LLC offering some exciting new strains and products for our retail customers as well as some tried and true varieties. Most of these varieties will be available at a retail store near you by February. Some of the varieties are discussed below.
Most of our lineup of varieties is the result of clones produced by "Essential Flowers" of Port Angeles Washington. Essential Flowers is a new producer to the community. Prior to landing in Port Angeles Essential Flowers tried to locate a grow operation in Clallam County and, as many of us have experienced, it agonized a dysfunctional county permitting system that forced the owner into Port Angeles Washington. Port Angeles has a much more reasonable approach to marijuana businesses. It actually considers growing marijuana an "agricultural activity" as does the State of Washington Department of Agriculture. As such Port Angeles has supported the implementation of I-502. As opposed to the county which has done its best to curtail I-502 business. For a discussion of local political issues in implementation of I-502 see our political page.
Cheese: Ten young pre flowering Cheese plants are shown in picture to left under high pressure sodium lights. The picture to the right shows a top of one flowering. Cheese is a vibrant emerald-coloured bud of relaxing medical and recreational marijuana, which is brightened by florescent orange hair that covers the bud. It has a fruity berry aroma with a CBD level of about 0.73 per cent and high levels of THC. It is an Indica variety. Cheese is a useful pain reliever and calming agent that also help in overcoming chronic symptoms of extreme depression, body aches and anxiety disorders. Expected release date by Star crisp Farms is late January.
Fire OG: This picture shows 10 Fire OG under pure LED lighting in vegetative stage waiting to be transferred to our flowering room. Fire OG is an indica dominant hybrid (70% indica/30% sativa) strain that is a potent cross between the hugely popular OG Kush X San Fernando Valley OG Kush. This dank bud is said to be the most powerful of the OG Kush family and boasts an insanely high THC level ranging from 26-33% on average. Users describe the Fire OG high as having an instant creative uplifting sense of motivation and determination. You'll feel a rush of energy that leaves you euphoric and stimulated. This slowly fades into an intense couch lock with an insane case of the munchies and complete and utter sedation. As the high starts to wane, you'll be eased into a deep and peaceful sleep. Due to these potent effects, Fire OG is said to be an ideal strain for treating patients suffering from conditions such as chronic pain due to injury or illness, stress, mild to moderate cases of depression, and sleep disorders, including insomnia and night terrors. Fire OG buds have a pungent earthy taste with a hint of woody kush and an aroma of sweet burning pine. This bud has leafy airy neon green nugs with a lot of long thin fiery orange hairs, rich purple undertones, and a frosty white layer of trichomes. Expected release date from StarCrisp farms April.
Flyin Hawaiian: Our Flyin Hawaiian stock is shown here under a combination of LED and HPS lighting to the left of the tomato cages supporting PCK shown below. We have 10 of these ladies currently growing. These plants are known for being vigorous and sport large buds. The genetics is - Super Skunk X Hawaiian Cross.
If the word colorful had a smell….this would be it. Just a pleasant, inviting, and welcoming smell. like a fruity mixture of mango, grapefruit and light skunky overtone.
The vibe with Flyin Hawaiian is appreciated. Under a cloud of stress it will turn the cloud into nothing but sunshine. This Flyin Hawaiian will book a flight and take you with her to ALOHA !
The sweet taste (soury grapefruit) doesnt kick in until the end of the inhale. Making the exhale a very smooth toke, as well as a little massage for the mind.
Medical uses include appetite stimulation ,mind optimism, clarity. Recreational uses complimented include writing music, personal projects ,socializing. Expected release date from StarCrisp Farms is late January.
